THE CELESTIAL ROSE
Venus is the cosmic Mother of the Rose Lineage. Over an eight-year cycle, Venus traces a remarkable five-petaled pentagram across the heavens, forming a celestial Rose that has captivated human consciousness since antiquity. In her Evening Star and Morning Star phases, she moves through a rhythm of visibility and disappearance, descent, transformation and ascent, revealing the oldest pattern of feminine initiation known to us.
For millennia, this radiant wandering star has been intimately connected with Goddess traditions of the ancient world, from Inanna and Ishtar to Astarte, Aphrodite and Venus. Among the earliest is Inanna, Queen of Heaven and Earth, whose descent into the Great Below mirrors Venus’ sky dance.
This celestial and mythic map lies at the heart of the Rose Priestess Path.

The Rose of Venus apprenticeship is for women who feel called to a sustained initiatory path of Mystery Study, Priestess Arts, ceremony and lived relationship with the Venusian Rose Mysteries.

Achintya Devi
Achintya Devi is an Author, Ceremonialist, Oracle, Mystical Scholar and High Priestess of the Rose Lineage devoted to the Divine Feminine and the ancient and living mysteries of the Rose.
Her Priestess Path spans three decades, rooted in mystical study, ceremony, sacred relationship with the Earth and ancient Goddess tradition. Through pilgrimage to sacred lands and through direct inner gnosis, she experienced a profound remembrance of the Rose Lineage in communion with Mary Magdalene.
For more than twenty years, Achintya has taught, mentored and guided tens of thousands of women through Mystery School training, ceremony, initiation and the Priestess Path. She founded Goddess Rising Mystery School in 2012; began her relationship with the Venus cycle in 2014; Rose Lineage offerings began taking form in 2016; and since 2018 she has taught the Rose Priestess Path as a sustained initiatory body of work.
Achintya has led and co-led nearly forty retreats and pilgrimages in Hawai‘i, Avalon, Southern France and Egypt. She is author and co-creator of The Magdalene Altar Oracle with Danielle Noel, with whom she also co-founded House of Rosa Mystica. She is also founder of The Magdalene Rose Priestess Convocation and co-founder of Maison Rosa Mystica in Southern France.
Her leadership is rooted in loving kindness, embodied wisdom, spiritual integrity and deep devotion. She lovingly guides women through thresholds of light and shadow, home to their innate wisdom, truth and power.
